Acoustic cleaning is a maintenance method used in processes that produce particulate materials to remove buildup on surfaces. It works by generating powerful sound waves that shake particulates loose from surfaces, reducing the need for manual cleaning.

The operation of an acoustic cleaner is simple - compressed air enters the sound generator, forcing a titanium diaphragm to flex. This flexing causes a pressure fluctuation that is amplified by the horn bell. The resulting pressure wave causes particulate matter to dislodge. The particulate matter then is removed by either gravity or gas flow.
